1. Who We Are
Ankzo is a personal financial information, calculation, planning and decision-support service.
The Service is operated by:
Legal entity: Ankzo
Registered or principal address: India
Privacy email: privacy@ankzo.com
Support email: support@ankzo.com
In this Privacy Policy, “Ankzo,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the legal entity identified above.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Ankzo is normally the data controller of Personal Data collected through the website, applications and services described in this Policy.
Where another organisation determines why and how Personal Data is processed, that organisation may be a separate controller. For example, an open-banking provider, payment provider, financial institution or external website may process information under its own privacy terms.

Subject to the detailed provisions below:
- We do not sell your Personal Data.
- We do not use Personal Data for third-party cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not disclose your private financial profile publicly.

- We do not knowingly allow lenders, insurers, employers or landlords to access your Ankzo Score without your explicit action or permission.
- We minimise the Personal Data sent to AI, search and external-data providers.
- We do not intentionally include your name, email address or account identifier in public web-search queries.
- We do not permit Personal Data to be used for general-purpose model training unless that use is specifically disclosed, legally permitted and, where required, based on your explicit consent.
- We provide controls for accessing, correcting and deleting supported Personal Data and AI memory.
- We distinguish estimated information from verified or connected information.
These commitments apply only to Ankzo’s own processing. Third-party providers may have their own legal obligations and privacy terms, as explained below.

6. Special-Category and Highly Sensitive Information
Ankzo is not designed to collect special-category information such as racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, genetic information, biometric identifiers used for identification, health information or information about sex life or sexual orientation.
Financial questions may sometimes reveal health, family or other sensitive circumstances. Please provide only information that is necessary for the feature you are using.
Where Ankzo intentionally processes special-category Personal Data, we will identify an appropriate legal basis and additional condition, provide any required notice and obtain explicit consent where legally required.
7. Information About Other People
You must not provide another person’s Personal Data unless:
- You have their authority.
- The information is lawfully obtained.
- It is reasonably necessary for the feature.
- Providing it does not breach confidentiality or another legal obligation.
Household members may control which information is private and which information is shared, where household functionality supports those permissions.
8. How We Use Personal Data and Our Lawful Bases
We process Personal Data only where we have an appropriate lawful basis.
| Purpose | Typical data | UK/EU lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Create and administer an account | Account and identity data | Contract; steps requested before entering a contract |
| Provide calculators and financial tools | Calculator inputs, profile data and results | Contract; legitimate interests for anonymous service operation |
| Provide Ask Ankzo | Messages, relevant context, tool outputs and conversation state | Contract |
| Personalise the Service | Profile, goals, preferences, decisions and memory | Contract; user choice; legitimate interests where compatible and proportionate |
| Generate Ankzo Score and Financial Twin outputs | Financial profile, connected data and derived data | Contract; legitimate interests; explicit consent where required |
| Connect bank or financial accounts | Account, consent, balance and transaction information | Contract; consent and any legal basis required by open-banking rules |
| Process subscriptions and payments | Account, plan, transaction and billing references | Contract; legal obligation |
| Provide support and handle complaints | Account, communications, case information | Contract; legitimate interests; legal obligation |
| Maintain security and prevent fraud or abuse | Technical, authentication, device and activity data | Legitimate interests; legal obligation |
| Measure product use, monitor reliability and diagnose errors | Minimised route, interaction, device, consent-state, trace and error data | Legitimate interests for limited cookieless measurement; consent where analytics storage or similar non-essential device technologies are used |
| Improve Ankzo | De-identified data, quality metrics, feedback and controlled evaluation data | Legitimate interests; consent where required |
| Send service communications | Account, subscription and operational information | Contract; legitimate interests; legal obligation |

| Comply with law and protect legal rights | Relevant records | Legal obligation; legitimate interests; establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims |
| Manage corporate transactions | Relevant business and customer records | Legitimate interests; legal obligation |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interests may include:
- Operating and improving a reliable Service.
- Detecting fraud and abuse.
- Protecting users and systems.
- Understanding feature performance.
- Providing relevant support.
- Establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
You may request information about a relevant legitimate-interests assessment.
9. AI Processing
9.1 How AI is used
AI may help Ankzo:
- Understand your question.
- Classify your intent.
- Select relevant financial tools.
- Identify missing information.
- Explain deterministic calculation results.
- Summarise public information.
- Compare scenarios.
- Produce plain-language recommendations.
- Create conversation summaries.
- Identify proposed memory items.
- Validate answer quality.
AI is not the authoritative source for Ankzo’s deterministic financial calculations.
9.2 Information sent to AI providers
We aim to send only the minimum context reasonably necessary for the task.
Depending on your question, this may include:
- Your message.
- Country and currency.
- Selected financial-profile fields.
- Relevant goals or commitments.
- Current calculator inputs and outputs.
- Relevant conversation history.
- Public-source extracts.
- Structured financial analysis.
We do not intentionally include direct identifiers such as your name, email address or account ID where they are unnecessary.
If you actively choose to save a financial profile using the financial-profile consent control, Ankzo enables personalised priorities and may use relevant fields from that saved profile as context in a general Ask Ankzo conversation. Calculator-specific conversations use the active calculator context instead of silently combining it with the saved profile. You can disable saved-profile use for general chats or personalisation from account settings without deleting the underlying profile.
Ankzo does not send the complete saved profile automatically for every request. It selects and minimises context according to the question, country, currency and available provenance.
9.3 AI-provider training and secondary use
We will not knowingly send identifiable Personal Data to an AI provider that is permitted to use it for unrelated general-purpose model training unless:
- That use is specifically disclosed.
- An appropriate lawful basis exists.
- Any required explicit consent has been obtained.
- Applicable international-transfer requirements are satisfied.
Where available, Ankzo will use contractual controls, API settings or enterprise arrangements that restrict provider use of inputs and outputs.
The categories of AI services involved, their purposes and the types of data they may process are described in the service-provider schedule below.
9.4 Accuracy
AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or outdated. Ankzo uses deterministic tools, source retrieval and validation controls to reduce risk, but these measures cannot eliminate every error.
You should review important assumptions and verify material decisions independently.
10. Search and Public-Source Processing
Ankzo may use a search provider to retrieve current public information.
We aim to:
- Remove unnecessary direct identifiers from search queries.
- Avoid including your complete financial profile in a public search query.
- Prefer official and authoritative sources.
- Record source and retrieval time for material claims.
- Distinguish web-search information from structured financial data.
Search results may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. A search result does not constitute endorsement of a third-party website.
11. Profiling and Automated Decision-Making
Ankzo uses automated processing and profiling to provide:
- Personalised calculations.
- Financial-health indicators.
- Ankzo Score results.
- Financial Twin projections.
- Goal forecasts.
- Recommendations.
- Feature suggestions.
- Fraud and security monitoring.
For a newly saved financial profile, personalised priorities and saved-profile context for general Ask Ankzo conversations are enabled only after the user selects the financial-profile consent control. These settings can subsequently be switched off independently in account settings.
Ankzo’s consumer score and recommendations are intended for your information and decision support.
Unless we explicitly tell you otherwise in a separate notice:
- Ankzo does not use them to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
- Ankzo does not use them to approve or refuse credit.
- Ankzo does not use them to determine insurance eligibility or pricing.
- Ankzo does not use them for employment, housing or immigration decisions.
- Ankzo does not provide them to a lender, insurer, employer or landlord without your action or permission.
You may:
- Ask for an explanation.
- Correct the underlying data.
- Change assumptions.
- Request that a calculation be rerun.
- Object to or disable eligible personalisation.
- Contact us to challenge a result.
If Ankzo later introduces solely automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects, we will provide a separate notice and applicable safeguards before doing so.
12. Ankzo Score
The Ankzo Score:
- Is a consumer financial-health and progress indicator.
- Is not a credit-reference-agency score.
- Is not a lender underwriting score.
- Does not guarantee financial success.
- May be estimated from incomplete or manually provided data.
- May change as data, assumptions or methodology change.
- May contain prediction and uncertainty.
- Should be reviewed together with pillar scores, confidence and coverage.
We store the score version, date, reason codes and supporting data references where appropriate.
13. Open Banking and Connected Accounts
Where available, connected-account access is optional.
Before connection, you should receive information about:
- The provider.
- Information requested.
- Purpose.
- Consent duration.
- Refresh frequency.
- How to disconnect.
- Any separate provider terms.
Ankzo may use connected data for:
- Cash-flow analysis.
- Salary detection.
- Recurring-payment detection.
- Goal tracking.
- Financial Twin updates.
- Ankzo Score inputs.
- Personalised recommendations.
You can disconnect supported accounts. Disconnecting may stop future retrieval but may not immediately remove information already imported. You may separately request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
Connected-account data may be delayed, incomplete or incorrectly categorised. You can correct supported classifications.
Strictly necessary technologies
Required for:
- Authentication.
- Security.
- Session management.
- Load balancing.
- Saving privacy preferences.
- Core service operation.
Analytics technologies
Ankzo loads a product-measurement tag on its pages by default with analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation set to denied. In that default state, the provider may receive limited cookieless measurement signals. Ankzo uses those signals under its legitimate interests in understanding basic service use, reliability and demand, subject to applicable law and your right to object.
The default measurement is designed to include only minimised information such as:
- Page path without query-string values.
- Page title.
- Referring page and ordinary browser or device metadata supplied by the browser.
- Fixed feature events that do not accept raw financial values, profile facts, names, email addresses or Ask Ankzo message text.
- Consent state and technical diagnostics.
If you select Allow Google Analytics, analytics storage may be enabled for that browser so visits and interactions can be measured across pages or sessions. That optional storage is used to understand:
- Feature use.
- Performance.
- Errors.
- User journeys.
You can disable both cookieless product measurement and analytics storage for that browser through Google Analytics choices. Your choice is stored locally so Ankzo can respect it. Blocking or disabling analytics does not prevent you from using calculators, authentication or Ask Ankzo.
Preference technologies
Used to remember:
- Country.
- Currency.
- Display preferences.
- Feature settings.
Marketing technologies
Used only where enabled and legally permitted.
Non-essential analytics storage and similar device technologies are not enabled unless you make an affirmative choice or another legally permitted rule applies. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied through Ankzo's implementation.
Further details, including provider, purpose and duration, should be maintained in the /privacy#14-cookies-and-similar-technologies.

Personal Data may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganisation or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We require service providers to process Personal Data under appropriate contractual and security obligations.
A current description of material service-provider categories is maintained below. Further information about recipients and applicable transfer safeguards may be requested using the contact details in this Policy, subject to lawful confidentiality and security limitations.
16. Current Subprocessor Schedule
This schedule identifies the categories of external services Ankzo may use. It deliberately describes their functions and data use rather than publishing security-sensitive implementation details. A category applies only when the corresponding Ankzo capability is enabled and used.

Where a restricted international transfer applies, Ankzo uses an applicable adequacy mechanism, legally recognised safeguards or another lawful transfer basis and carries out any assessment required by applicable law.
17. International Transfers
Some providers may process Personal Data outside the United Kingdom, European Economic Area or country where you live.
Where a restricted international transfer occurs, we use an appropriate mechanism where required, such as:
- An adequacy regulation or decision.
- The UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
- The UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Another approved safeguard or legally permitted derogation.
Where required, we assess the legal and practical risks associated with the destination and provider and apply supplementary measures such as:
- Data minimisation.
- Pseudonymisation.
- Encryption.
- Access restrictions.
- Short retention.
- Contractual controls.
You may request information about the safeguard applicable to a relevant transfer.
18. Data Retention
We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements.
The following are recommended production periods and must match Ankzo’s actual implementation:
| Data | Recommended retention |
|---|---|
| Active account and profile | For the life of the account |
| Closed account core record | Up to 24 months after closure, except records required longer by law |

| Ask Ankzo conversations | Up to 24 months from last activity, unless deleted earlier |
| Structured AI memory | Until deleted, superseded or account closure |
| Uploaded source documents | Deleted after extraction or within 30 days unless the user saves them or law requires retention |

When possible, information retained only for these purposes will be isolated and access-restricted.
